About this series of articles
One of the most important questions you must answer during your lifetime is what will you do with the message of the Gospel – the message of Christ Jesus dying for your sins to reconcile you to God. Every human has just a few years between birth and death to choose how they will respond. Your eternal destination after death is determined by your response to the Gospel.
Many of us know John 3:16 – For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. This verse demonstrates God’s love for His creation and His creatures, but just a couple verses later Jesus tells us speaking of Himself: He that believeth in Him is not condemned; but He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
The writer of Hebrews tells us in chapter 9, verse 27 – it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the Judgment. We get no second chances after we draw our last breath. We will be judged on what we have done with the message of salvation. Have we accepted it and placed our trust and faith in Christ, or have we rejected it and lived for ourselves?
In the series on Salvation we explore the message of Salvation, the Gospel message, how to live once saved, the role of baptism in salvation and most importantly – the choice we must make. Thank you for your interest. We pray for all that come to this page that they might read with an open mind asking God to show them truth.
