Be an Approved Workmen of Christ

Approved Workmen are not Ashamed – 2 Timothy 2:15 Immersion in the Word of God should play an essential role in the life of the believer. The Psalmist, in Psalm 119:105, declares that “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” The Bible is not merely a book to…

Exploring The Sinner’s Prayer and Genuine Faith

The “sinner’s prayer” emerges quietly in one’s heart when a person fully realizes their sinful nature and need for a Savior. Simply saying this prayer does not automatically fix our brokenness with God. Rather, the essence of the prayer is a heartfelt confession of sin and an earnest desire for God’s redemptive grace and salvation…

Why Foundational Knowledge in Christ Matters

I recently read a News article published by the Religious News Service titled ‘Is this when we disappear?’ Rapture triggers haunt the Left Behind generation, April 17, 2023 by Kathryn Post. It has left me concerned and worried about what has the church been teaching regarding the concept of the Rapture. How are we being taught to…

About the author

Brad Moore

Brad Moore is the voice behind Approved to God, where he writes to encourage believers with biblical truth and practical insight. He lives in Kentucky with his wonderful wife. Together, they raised three children over the past 30 years and are now walking through deep sorrow after the loss of their adult daughter to illness — a loss that has only deepened Brad’s reliance on the promises of God.

Brad came to know Christ at the age of 5, but wrestled through much of his early life with doubts and confusion about salvation. As a teen, he often feared he wasn’t “doing enough” to be saved, praying repeatedly for assurance. Around age 17, God opened his eyes to the simple and powerful truth of the gospel — that salvation is not earned but received by faith alone in Christ alone. That moment changed everything.

He was baptized in the Snoqualmie River in Washington State at 17. Today, Brad serves his local church as a Sunday School teacher and Deacon, and is a member of The Gideons International. He has a heart for teaching, writing, and pointing others to the unchanging truth of Scripture.

Alongside Approved to God, Brad also maintains several other blogs and runs a web design business that helps churches, ministries, and small businesses establish their online presence.
